So I made a vlog!

I thought that as I am so inspired by the YouTube diaries and success story videos and because I desperately want to try an bottle my mojo for later I made a video of my own!  I apologise now for the picture quality and it is a little longer than I meant to make it, but I will be better in the next one I promise!

It is weigh in tomorrow and I have been on the scales in between and it isn’t looking as good as I hoped it might be, but tomorrow it may suddenly change.  I have measured and recorded everything that has passed my lips, so if nothing else that is a non scale victory I can take away from this week and I am sure next week will be better! More about that tomorrow!

Here I am again…

Shortly after my last (and first) post I had some bad news. My Dad had an accident and broke his hip so I flew back to England to help out.  After that, I was away on my Open University Summer School in Jena, which involved plenty of boozy nights, and somewhere between then and now I lost my Mojo.

I did manage to loose a little more and peaked with a total loss of about 76 lbs, but last Saturday I stepped back on the scales for the first time in a long time and I was shocked at what I saw.  I was back up to 20 stone 12.5 (292.5 lbs) so although I am still 38.5 lbs down I have put on half of what I lost overall and that has spurred me back into action.  This week I have dusted off the MyFitnessPal account and managed to stick to my 1550 calories or less and have had a sneaky look at the scales and am excited to tell you what they are at my official weigh in tomorrow.

Yesterday @BLcastingteam tweeted that they started filming Season 15 this week, so for the first time I am starting my journey at the same time as the contestants.

I am going to set myself a manageable goal for mid-December, which is when I think the Finale will be and when the episodes air I can compare my losses to theirs.  Obviously I don’t think I will lose anything as insane as those guys, unfortunately I don’t have anyone to push me to work out 6 hours a day and I don’t have the discipline to do it myself.  I will be competing with no one but myself and I simply want to lose week on week, no gains. That will be at least 24 losses in a row.

Wish me luck, not that I need it, I have my Mojo after all! xx
